NJ RESIDENTS AGAINST SPEACIAL AUTOMOBILE INSURANCE POLICY

This is the most horrible law I've 3ver heard of. My mom recently passed due to being hit by someone with this isurance. How is it possible there is no liability when ithe results in fatality or disability. I am heartbroken by this.

I did't know it existed until I became a victim. Make it $2 a day and cover other drivers as the law states for the rest of us.

I was a victim of an accident by a person with SAIP. Not only am I out my deductible, but I am also out lost wages, and fear that my insurance will go up due to me having to turn the claim in to my insurance. I was told that I could pursue a lawsuit against the SAIP individual who hit me, but was also told that even if I win judgement, I cannot garnish their medcaid benefits or have their assets liquidated. I am out thousands of dollars, even with my insurance paying for my claim, and I am horrified that NJ even allows this coverage to exist.

My partner just got hit by one of these SAIP drivers. We didn't even know such a Policy existed. Damn NJ - how corrupt can you be?
