Those who receive service, a sudden change will lead to more hospitalization. Agency who give care is have a hard time keeping employee and have not give pay increase in year this new change means employer will have a even harder time keeping employee.DO NOT limited agency from giving the best of service from choosing from one level of care to less because funding is limited.

Please, please do not endorse a Fee- for- Service funding model. Community mental health is vital for people suffering from mental illness. Quality programs are needed in New Jersey for our mentally ill family members.

There is a shortage of qualified child an adolescent psychiatrists nationwide and in New Jersey. Cutting funding will have a negative impact on practice and quality care for children and adults with mental illness. It is estimated that i in 4 or 5 will have a mental health diagnosis at some point. We can not afford to leave mental health problems untreated. Mental health problems , if left untreated will negatively impact friends, family and the community. New Jersey ranks high in the number of deaths by suicide.

With the current unexplainably inadequate reimbursement rates, providers will not be able to continue to serve the mentally ill. It is unconscionable that the State of New Jersey would allow it's citizens to suffer needlessly. Please re-evaluate the rates and institute a reasonable implementation period or continue a contract while the full impact is known.

We need a longer transition time and higher fees for reimbursement in order for agencies to be able to provide the acceptable level of care and not have these consumer return to the mental health hospitals which will cost the state more money.

The current reimbursement for outpatient services will mean the death of outpatient for our most vulnerable consumers. Consumers will have no option to receive needed medication that has been instrumental in keeping them a functional member of society.

I would just like to know what the governor plans to do with over 3,000 mental health patients who will be without their medication when fee for service goes into effect in Camden.

It is disgraceful that NJ will be implementing this plan without modifications. Our consumers have NOWHERE else to go for psychiatric medications. The staff working at non-profit do so for less money to help the poor with Medicaid. Without the money to pay staff, services will suffer. Clients will end up in jail or hospital due to lack of medication and therapy. This must change! Please increase the Medicaid rates in order to preserve the treatment that is desperately needed!

At a time when mental health services should be increasing, now this? I am appalled by the lack of compassion that our state legislators have for such a needy population and I will remind my fellow caregivers and family members to think twice before voting.

Please do not reduce this reimbursement rate. Treating a mental health illness costs just as much as treating a physical illness. Often it costs more!
