This happened to my 2012 Nissan Rogue at 67K miles

My car stopped right at a red light. It wouldn't accelerate. I was quite lucky it died right beside a car repair shop. They helped push my car off the busy street to their parking lot. Couldn't get to the dipstick but due to the symptoms( could only back up) I was told my transmission was the offender.

My transmission is slipping and causes accelaration problems.

2011 Rogue with a squealing noise when accelerating. It's getting worse by th day and no one can figure out what it is??

My CVT went out in my 2011 Rogue on Sunday, and Nissan refuses to acknowledge the problem. The rep told me that the complaints are just "rumors" and she couldn't "confirm or deny" them.

We are experiencing a similar problem in our Nissan Quest. Help us, Nissan!

2009 rogue with CVT transmission failure, Nissan will not stand behind their product!

Bought a 2008 Rogue wit 8k miles. Had the transmission replaced twice, and the 3rd time it went out it wasn't under warranty. So I have a useless Rogue with no desire to fix it so it can go out again in 30k miles.

I brought 2012 versa in 2014...had only 30,572 miles...have driven vehicle appr. 15,000 miles going on 2.5 years, non-stop problems all r/t CVT....hate it....what a waste....

My 2012 Versa 's cvt transmission has always been quirky, erratic and unpredictable. It often shudders and hesitates when accelerating from a rolling stop and therefore can be very dangerous to drive. I don't dare to lend it to anybody for fear they will get killed in it! From what I'm reading, this is considered "normal" for this transmission. Shame on you Nissan! These cvt's should be recalled and fixed! I'm sure they are responsible for many traffic fatalities.

My transmission is going out in my 2012 Nissan Versa CVT. I ran the VIN through Nissan's website and see that it was recalled less than a year ago for the transmission. Nissan has stated that since the warranty expires in either 2017 or at 60,000 miles, they will repair it, in spite of the recall. My vehicle started experiencing problems with the transmission at 64,500 miles.
