My 2012 Nissan Cube CVT transmission took a dump on me at 93K miles after only driving it for 18 months. Now the dealer wants $3100 to replace the transmission and I come to find out that the earlier models had an extended warranty to 120K miles because of this issue. I serviced it regularly and I can't believe the issues I read about these CVT transmissions. I agree it could be dangerous with the phantom accelerating, decelerating and stopping in the middle of the road at times. Nissan should help us!!

2013 Nissan sentra, starting having issues at 40k miles, each time, the dealer says the issue is non-replicable. Finally, the transmission begins to show even replicable issues at 62k miles, JUST AFTER the warranty expires. Nissan needs to fix this FAST.

I had to replace the transmission on my 2013 Nissan Sentra bought brand new. 2 years ago the transmission went out. I finally got fed up and traded the horrible vehicle in.

Nissan Versa 2011. A few miles short of 80k miles and the transmission is done, replacement costs more than I owe on the car!

The cars them selves are good but the transmissions are horrible, unreliable, my 2016 Nissan Sentra has 6,000 miles and I'm already getting transmission problems but they say I should drive easier, like wtf am I supposed to drive like 40 or 50 in the highway

Have a 2013 sentra took to nissan and it's the transmission Warranty only good to 60,000 miles mine has 76,000. They refuse to replace even though they know they have a problem. (The tech that took our info told us that they were notorious for transmission failure) something needs done!

2014 Nissan Altima purchased brand new. Car shuddered, lost power necessary to accelerate and simply just shut off in the middle of flowing traffic!!!! Accident in progress!!!! I was able to drive less than a mile to a parking lot where it shut off again before I could place it in park. Drove vehicle to Nissan dealership. Transmission needs to be replaced. On a two and a half year old car?? Nissan needs to take responsibility.

2012 Nissan Rogue - needs relacement transmission, asked Nissan to consider goodwill and split cost (just outside of extended warranty) and was told an emphatic , NO.

My 2012 Nissan Sentra needs a replacement transmission that was found to be defective inn 2007 to 2010 models. Seems to be still defective for 2012.
