My 2014 Nissan Versa's transmission went out just after the 60,000 mile warranty. After reading all of the issues other Nissan owners have been having with their transmissions, I have determined that Nissan is out of their leagues in the automotive industry, and produce nothing more than garbage on wheels.

I have a 2014 Nissan Sentra with 67.000 miles which is also having transmission issues. I checked for codes and I got 9 different codes popping up. P0300, P0131, P0137, P0446, P0496, P0700, U0101, P0634, P0777. From what my wife told me the car does shake when you drive it and after awhile it cuts out and just dies. But now it won't go nowhere.

yes i bought a 2013 nissan pathfinder and had problems with the transmission since day one and have had it to the dealer so many times and they say nothing is wrong with it.makes me so mad when you pay that kind of money for a car.

My husband and i just bought a used Versa Note 2014 with only 12k miles on it in December 2016. It is now May 30 2017 and my car is sitting in the shop. My transmission has failed and there are a few other issues with the steering. Since December, I have only put a little over 8K miles on it. So, it is at about 21 k. My transmission should not have issues at barely over 20,210 miles . The car was certified to be cleared and in perfect condition. There only option are to put a "used" re-manufactured transmission in or pay 4K out-of-pocket for a transmission that should not have failed already. I do not understand.

The CVT transmission went out at only 66K miles on my 2011 Nissan Maxima SV. Nothing covered. Finding it very hard to ever buy Nissan again.

ever since my 2010 nissan altima got over 100,000 miles on it it has a life of its own battery dies when ever it wants to and everything starts flashing like a police car, the transmission revs out of no where or goes all the way up and wont stop when i start it, car randomly turns on with the lock button on remote, seats and ac get extremely hot they burn , the usb never workednot a smooth ride at all and now is grinding. the calipers seize no matter what because of suspension or braking system who knows anymore really my car in constantly maintained as well because my family owns a repair facility .

2009 Nissan Versa. 130k miles and the transmission started to lag, stop working after you get off the freeway, and then died within 2 weeks.

I have a 2012 versa that I am having CVT issues with as well. And now they want to replace the cvt to a tune of 3500.00-4000.00. Are you kidding me? This car has been maintained mechanically and should not be having this serious issue at all. Even the Nissan dealership said that some cvt's are defective and don't last....THAT's ACOUNTABILITY in my book esp after having my cvt serviced, flushed and updated software in Dec 2016 at he dealership. Was even told how great condition the car was in mechanically......and now! That's a shocker...the car value is not worth 4000.00.

My 2012 Altima recently shook, shuddered and then would not move. I was on a freeway that is quite busy and I was barely able to get the car off the road. After sitting for a few minutes, I tried to drive and the car would not move - not in drive, not in reverse, not at all. My warranty expired about 2 months ago. Nissan needs to do something about thisi.
