I have a 2013 rogue. same transmission issues as other people on this petition. I can't afford to buy a new transmission when I'm still making payments on the car. they need to fix this!

Defect CVT transmission! I have 2013 Rogue (I'm the original owner). Transmission breaks down and my speed drops from 75 mph to 40 mph regardless of road is flat or uphill. I've noticed this happens when I have the speed control on. If I come to a stop sign/signal, car won't move forward. A good way to get rear-ended! Nissan can have their crappy car back: I want my money back.

I am soooo frustrated at Nissan. I had this problem with a pathfinder 2014 twice in under 35,000 miles. Every time "we just need to change the transmission valve body" . The second time was shortly after the very first time. I mean seriously!!!

2011 Nissan Altima transmission started jerking and bucking in the middle of an major intersection. Several cars swerved to keep from hitting me. Called nissan and they stated only the 2010 was covered under the extended warranty. Warranty wouldn't have marca difference due to I was 3k over. Nissan will not even sell me a discounted transmission. Says the new transmission will cost $4200! I

My transmission was doing that before one day I was almost hit since my car took forever to turn at the green arrow. Then it just wined and sounded terrible. Found out my transmission went out. The shop told me that Nissans CVT is terrible and basically a throw away transmission and I had to pay $4000.00 for a new transmission on a 2011 Nissan maxima SV. Contacted Nissan Consumer dept and they told me that they couldn't do anything for me. I think they need a class action lawsuit to help us recoup some of our money back for the failure of Nissan.

I have a 2007 nissan sentra that I just bought two weeks ago!!! and had the same problem of driving on the highway and hearing a whining noise and then the car slowly comes to a stop. Thank God I didn't get into a accident as I had my mother and a six year old in the back.

A bit past 76k miles my 2013 Nissan Altima sv 2.5L started to run differently the rpm didn't match the speed so took my car to 2 different Nissan dealerships an I was told my car was fine now now at 77k my car will not accelerate for about 20-30 seconds and when it does it takes off the rpm will be very high then it starts to decrease speed on its on and won't accelerate until I turn the car off then back on this is disgusting because Nissan is aware of this and they just don't care I called Nissan and the told me that my car was no longer under warranty and it was nothing that they could do and to have a nice day what are they waiting until someone dies from an accident due to the cvt failing to do a recall Nissan you are a disgusting company with no morals I will never buy you brand ever again my family has been buying nissans since 1990 you just lost a loyal family of customers

I had to replace my transmission in my 2015 Sentra Nissan SR (28,000 miles) and I am still having problems. My sister also has a 2015 Sentra SR 2015 and has the same problems, car jerking, car stalling, and no power when driving. Nissan corporate refuses to replace her transmission, instead kept her car for over a month to change fluid and valves. This issue is very dangerous and is well know to Nissan. I was nearly hit by a vehicle due to a defaulted transmission!
