I have same problem. 2016 Nissan Altima. Transmission replaced and now 4K later gas mileage dropped in half and cvt failing again.

Cvt transmission slowing down to 35 mi on, highway while driving originaly
driving 65, loud noises., grinding, etc. Car stalling, car won't start, sensor shows camshaft bad. Changed twice, cleaned everything out prior to replacements. QUESTION: Nissan has know this issue for many years why Is it older models that have complained for years paid good money, been in very bad accidents due to car will stop in the middle of a highway (Extremely dangerous) Nissan just denies anything wrong also. Same thing as 2018/2019 lawsuit only.

I sold a Nissan Sentra 2013 to my boyfriend with only ~75k miles on it earlier this year (7/2019).
The transmission started failing three months later and was recommended to be replaced by a local mechanic.
Leveraging the class action lawsuit's pending settlement, he negotiated with Nissan to fund the repair. They agreed to do it in-house for 20% of the full price.
Unfortunately to our dismay, Nissan only repaired parts of the transmission instead of replacing it as they had implied they would.
I've head horror stories of how Nissan tried to do partial repairs but failed to address the underlying issue. I believe something similar happened to one of the people who started the class action lawsuit.
I'm going to reach out to the law firms and explore better options.

2015 Nissan Junk- One transmission down, the new has the same issues. First brand new car I ever bought and am sadly disappointed!!!!

I have a 2012 Nissan and it's a beautiful suv but it's currently sitting parked because it has engine issues! It only has 107,004 miles on the engine... Not covered by factory warranty I guess and can't afford to fix it! Single mother of 3 and without a car now because of it!

Car stopped accelerating on freeway. Nearly killed my daughter when it came to a stop on merging service drive. Had to pay for a new transmission.
