Our 2014 Altima at 70,000 miles started losing power on acceleration after running around town and the local highway on longer errands. Fortunately this didn't happen on one of our longer road trips, but was a dangerous situation for my wife in daughter when they were driving in traffic and trying to accelerate onto the highway. Nissan service diagnosed an issue with the valve body. Fortunately damage had not yet occurred to the belt/pulleys, so 'just' the valve body needed to be replaced. But that was expensive enough. I've completely lost confidence in the long term reliability of the car (which I otherwise love to drive). A real shame. Very frustrated to see how prolific the issue is and that Nissan has not reigned it in or taken care of owners who are dealing with a gross failure on Nissan's part.

Bought 2012 Nissan Altima in January 2018. Within 400 miles the trans began making whining noise with slipping feeling and hesitation.

My 2014 Nissan Altima (purchased in 2015) needs the transmission replaced with only 66,000 miles! 5 year warranty expired at 60,000 and 100,000 extended CVT warranty only covers 2010-2012 models!! I am looking to join in on any class action suits concerning this! Nissan needs to be a company of integrity and correct this issue immediately!

I have a 2012 Nissan versa. Transmission is going out. Warranty expired 1 month ago. Still paying on car. I'm not rich. I work hard

Bought a 2013 Nissan sentra Sr in 2015 with only 33k miles. Warranty on transmission expires at 60k. My car 3 years later only has 81k and the transmission went out. Shaking, jerking, etc. Now Nissan wants $4500 for a new transmission that will likely do the same thing.

Nissan Murano 2 months and 3 days out of warranty on a CVT they know is defective and Nissan Consumer Affairs cold scripted reply is DECLINED. Yes please add me to any Class Action

We have a 2015 Nissan Rouge with 92,000 highway miles. Driving home last night the car slowed and seemed so hard to drive. This morning it wouldn't move when put into gear. Had it towed to the Nissan dealership in Ft.Walton beach, Fl. They said the transmission was toast and it would be $5,100.00 to replace it.

I had a 2012 Nissan Versa and the CVT transmission had to be replaced. I opted to get a new car since it would cost $3,800 to replace.

I had to go in pocket and finance my Nissan Versa CVT transmission in November, 2017 . I contacted Nissan about airbags and I was told that this recall was closed but CVT was opened. I stated that my transmission was repaired by a local transmission company and why my car had not been recalled , Nissan said it was because my vehicle was not registered on their website.

My 2013 Versa cvt transmission needs replaced and is currently at the local Nissan dealer to be replaced. Since Nissan knows there is a problem they should pay the repair costs, $4000.00.

2011 Nissan Rogue issue with CVT on freeway. First time I ran into the problem but scary issue to have on the freeway and had no idea what was going on.
