2012 Versa Transmission went out on long distance trip over the mountains. We are just now learning that this is a common problem- repair estimate same as what we paid for the vehicle - not OK

2012 nissan versa sedan. Check engine light is on and nissan can't find the reason. Car drives sluggish since driving the new car off the lot.

My 2013 Nissan Sentra just stopped working suddenly with little to no warning . I just purchased an extended warranty since the original warranty had run out for any future problems, only to find out the future is right now. The transmission is shot and Nissan does not want to claim responsibility for the transmission problems. Sign me up for a class action suit.

I am currently driving a 2013 sentra with cvt transmission problems and have contacted my car does not accelerate properly making it extremely dangerous to drive.

I have a 2012 Nissan Murano and am having transimssion problems. Initially the dealership said I had to pay $4400 to replace it, but when I did my homework and found out about this was a serial problem, Nissan Consumer Affairs had it checked over again- they did numerous diagnostics, but at this point they won't extend the warranty or pay for my transmission problem b/c the dealership has not been able to get a video of the issue. So it was a definite need to replace when it was on my dime, but now Nissan is dragging their feet.

My 89 year old father had a 2013 Rogue with 21000 miles, and this problem JUST started. A transmission with 21K miles!

We are a service facility with approx. 50 Nissan Versa Notes.We have replaced numerous transmissions only to have them fail again.Any help would be appreciated.

my 2013 nissan juke has constantly slipping cv transmission. the vehicle revs above 6000 rpm and doesnt change up. also the revs climb unexpectedly all the time

My 2013 Rogue is having this issue. Replaced transmission and it still is going into limp mode. Dealer says I need another transmission 3 weeks after the new one was installed!

Currently the owner of a 2011 Nissan Rogue that is rusting in my driveway. Transmission is completely gone at 90K and I do not have the money to fix it.

I am shocked at Nissan and how they will not stand by their product. I own a 2013 Nissan Rogue and I was experiencing having no power up hill and on highway where speed limits are 80 miles an hr and all my car would go is 20 miles. Once pulled off and tried going across an intersection I had no power and was almost in accident. I have 89000 miles and have just been told that i have to spend thousands of dollars to replace and that Nissan is aware of this issue. Wth these are people's lives Nissan! I still am financed and have to still pay for this poor excuse of a car and am infuriated...

I have a 2012 Nissan Rogue. I just found out today that my CVT Transmission is totally done. I have 144,000 km and always kept on top of my regular maintenance. I bought it new and the salesman pushed this transmission on me saying that I would easily get 300,000km with this vehicle.

I had to replace my 2013 Nissan Altima transmission at 71,000 miles. I bought it with 55,000 miles. Nissan will not assist at all if out of warranty. On carcomplaints.com website the 2013 Nissan Altima has won the "AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE" badge. This vehicle has numerous issues and the CVT is the biggest and most ignored. There are lawsuits all over toward Nissan and the CVT but not this year or model that I can find anyway. This is the worst year for the CVT transmission. On NHTSA.gov I researched Nissan Altima from 2006-2017. The 2013 Power Train complaints are at 238 and the closest number year to that many complaints on this site is 2006 with 71. However Nissan extended Power Train warranties for I believe the 2006-2010 models up to 120,000 ish miles but 2013 is just screwed. NISSAN IS A JOKE. Remember to file complaints with the NHTSA.gov site and list under Power Train.

2009 Nissan Altima. 1st transmission went out at 140K. 2nd transmission showing sign of going out again. Nissan has verified that this is problem as well as Aamco. $4500 to repair
