NISSAN CVT TRANSMISSION CLASS ACTION SUIT

I have a 2011 Nissan maxima and my CVT failed at 89k miles contracted Nissan north America told me I was out of warranty and I had to pay out of pocket to fix it , never buy a Nissan

I have a 2016 nissan sentra. Jerking started at 900 miles. I took it to a nissan dealership because of jerking and a smell. I was told by service advisor. The smell is a spray they spray on car to protect them during shipping while in transit. And the jerking is because the car needs to be broke in. Jerking continue so i thought it was normal. But the jerks got harder and the rpm needle juat went up and down like crazy. Going up hill on fwy I would have to exit carpool lane and get in slow lane because it feels like car loses power and wouldn't excel. This would be very dangerous. All of a sudden one day i was driving and heard a large bang and jerk. (I thought someone hit me from the back) then it felt like the energy had been drain from my car. It was like i couldn't move on the fwy. I had it towed to dealership and was advised i needed $3500 for new transmission.

I have a 2013 Nissan Rogue that I am terrified to drive because I feel it’s a death trap. More than once, it has lost power and started decelerating on the interstate or parkway... I am terrified I am going to get stranded in a middle lane, and get hit. Nissan refuses to fix the problem.

Experiencing all kinds of dangerous problems while on traffic tranny will not respond

This issue needs fixed. My 2013 sentra is junk because of the faulty cvt. Nissian fix my car that for years under warranty I was told normal.

I have a 2014 Nissan Altima the cvt melts jerking since I bought it new! I was told it was nothing until a month or so ago it was so bad I almost got in an accident on I-4 in Orlando! Brought it in and they wanted $3,500 to fix when I had complaining about it for years! Needless to say I’m too affraid to drive it and why fix it with another cvt when it’ll just do it again! I’m a single mom of two who drives for a living, my house flooded during Irma, and now I have a car that I cannot afford to fix or drive and a car payment for it! I called Nissan corporate who told me they couldn’t do anything. If they knew it was a problem from the beginning (and obviously my dealership did and didn’t want to fix it until my warranty was up) they should’ve taken control of the situation before it got out of hand. These are people’s lives they are dealing with. Not just the driver but the people driving around them as well!

Transmission Failure

2014 Nissan Versa 80K miles bought new from dealer - transmission is slipping.....

My 2013 Cube is on it's 2nd cvt transmission. The 1st left me in 2 extremely dangerous situations, stalling on the interstate at rush hour. Now the "new" transmission is 3000 miles over the 12,000 mile warrantee and is making a horrendous whirring noise. Nissan KNOWS it is putting defective, DANGEROUS cvt transmissions in their cars...and then replacing them with "rebuilt" versions of the SAME ones!!! I guess they'll continue this practice until some DIES in an accident. Please add me to any future Class Action Lawsuit!
