2014 Nissan Versa SV. Problems started at 15,000 miles, transmission failure and replacement at 45,000 miles under warranty. Replacement transmission started having problems at 60,000 miles, and appears to be just short of failure as the first time, now at 75,000 miles. Nissan should extend the warranty to 120,000 miles on these vehicles, and reimburse for lost residual value for those that were sold or traded in upon failure.

2013 Nissan Sentra. Bought car used @ 18K Miles. When I first got it, I took it back and complained it did not feel like it was driving properly. Was assured by both Carmax & Nissan that it was just the new engine type they were using. Fast forward almost 3 years. While driving home on the highway, during rush, @ 65mph my speed just begins to drop. I push down harder on the gas & absolutely nothing happens except my speed just keeps decreasing. The traffic is moving so fast that I can't even switch lanes to pull off onto the shoulder. I couldn't even make it home, ended up having to get my car towed. Mechanic says it feels like the transmission. He called Nissan dealership to inquire about recalls. They inform him there is a recall on the CVT Transmission Program. I NEVER was notified that anything was wrong with my car by Nissan. I could easily lost my life. The Nissan dealership tells me they will address the recall issue, but if that doesn't resolve my issue, they will run a Diagnostics on it for $155/ hr. I can not believe Nissan would not correct this issue with the Transmission before continuing to sell cars that have it under their hood.

I had to replace the transmission in my 2005 Altima in 2015 with only approximately 66,704 miles on my car. I am the only owner. I called Nissan and they blew me off. They told me they knew about the problems but there wasn’t a recall so it was my problem. Cost me $3,200 to replace. Still have the car and only have 80,400 on the car 3 years later. Will not buy another Nissan.

I have a 2014 Nissan Versa and had to buy a new transmission which cost me 3500.00. I only had 60,000 miles when this happened. Nissan would not take responsibility. I will never buy another Nissan anything!!!

I have a 2013 Nissan Altima... I bought it in 2015 .... in 2016 it needed a new transmission, two years later I need a transmission. Nissan won't cover because it's out of warranty. Help!

1 St time I took it in they told me there was a recall and they fixed the problem, but it didn't fix it. 2nd time I took it in they said it was an electronic problem, so I scheduled a time and brought it in. That time they said there was no problem and if I wanted to bring it another day they would try again to find the problem. This is Nissan of lagrange GA.

Acceleration problems going uphill ,hesitation, loss of power while driving on highway. No check engine light or codes for this issue.
Transmission shop won't even touch this vehicle do to liability.
