My 09 Altima needs a new transmission at 150k miles.... Nissan extended the powertrain warranty to 10 years and 120,000 miles, but of course they won't fix mine because even though it's still within the 10 years it's just over the 120,000 miles. This is ridiculous!

2014 Nissan Versa Note. Bought as certified pre-owned with just under 10k miles. Transmission failed at 40k and replacement was covered by Nissan under warranty. Now this past weekend, not quite 3 years later at 114k mostly highway miles the replacement transmission has failed, and it will be $4100 to replace it. I haven't decided what to do yet. I opened a case with Nissan North America, but they aren't offering much help. This last time was quite scary because my daughter and I were driving on the highway at night, and the car lost power going up hills even though the accelerator was pushed all the way down. A couple times I had to put on the hazard lights and pull over to the side and drive for fear of getting hit. RPMs are all over the place, and the car jerks slightly when changing gears. Fortunately we managed to make it home.

MY nissan sentra 2013 cvt transmission with only 63000 miles is breaking up due the cvt transmission. I can only drive the car on the street, at very low speed because the car jumps.

My 2008 Nissan Rogue with 105,000kms has an internal transmission error and they are recommending a replacement at $4500. I am 6 months past the 10 yr warranty and Nissan won't do anything to stand behind their product. Worst car company ever!

My daughter travels back and forth from Tampa to Tallahassee for college (FSU) and this vehicle is very unsafe as it automatically drops in speed on the interstate. I have had to pull over on the side of the road to let the vehicle cool in order to make it. This is dangerous as there is very little lighting on I10 and SR44 with a lot of wildlife.

This is dangerous to my family and everyone else on the road! You cannot lose acceleration while driving down the highway!

My 2013 Nissan Sentra just died and came to an abrupt halt while I was driving during rush hour. Nissan replaced the transmission and all I had to pay was a $100 deductible but now less than a month later it's starting to show signs of transmission issues again like shuttering , vibrations, and acceleration issues. Im scrared to continue driving it.
my cvt transmission failed without warning
