Nissan is deliberately ignoring the dangerous CVT transmission in its cars. People are driving cars that could kill them due to the accelleration and decelleration problems in this car and no one seems to want to do anything about it. If you are driving a Nissan and you are experiencing this same problem, please sign this petition.

I have spent my nights reading through your stories about these transmissions failing on highways and at intersections. It breaks my heart to see how many of you are living in fear every time you pull out into traffic. I am currently compiling these accounts to present to the legal team so they see the human cost behind these mechanical failures.

Reaching one hundred signatures shows that my family is not the only one living in fear of this car stalling out on the highway. I am relieved to know I am not alone in this fight against Nissan.

I was in my sister’s Nissan when the car started to decelerate upon passing another vehicle. We could have been involved in a head-on collision. Later down the road, the transmission went out. She owns a 2015 Nissan Versa with just over 90,000 miles on it.

Ive brought my 2013 nissan altima on several occasions for transmission issues but they swear up and down their test show my transmission is good; however, I am the one driving the car experiencing jerking whenever I am at a stop and accelerating.

2013 Rogue. Just had to have the CVT replaced. Warranty won't cover the external oil cooler because it didn't come off the assembly line with one. But in 2013, they STARTED putting them on SOME of the Rogues. Clearly they knew there was a problem!!

2011 Nissan Rogue 85,537 miles. Cvt failure on interstate causing loss of acceleration and power putting us in a deadly and dangerous situation. Because it's a 2011 Nissan didn't extend the warranty on them and refuses to help cover the 4500.00 cost

2013 Nissan Sentra 45,000 mi needs new transmission. We did have extended warrantee, however concerned about replacement transmission having same problem. So many, many cvt complaints on line. This is a safety issue. Shame on Nissan for not issuing a recall!

2 cars, Nissan Versa and Juke-2012 & 2012. CVT issue and $8,000 dollars later, Nissan will not acknowledge that there is a serious defect with these CVT's. Called the Consume Affairs Dept but was no help, was even escalated to a supervisor, still no help.

This is unacceptable I shouldn’t have to pay over 3k for a problem Nissan knows about and should have fixed.
