Although I support the right for individuals to protest, appropriation of this public open space should never be allowed. The shrubs and grasses in the planted area are now covered by tents, leaving them trampled and destroyed. Will the group be required to pay for their reinstatement? They have also damaged the planting on the roof of the pavilion, hanging banners and flags and installing solar panels. This is blatant trespassing and vandalism. Combined with the disruption to nearby residents, I can't understand why this hasn't been responded to by Wandsworth Council.

The protestors totally ignore the rights of residents to enjoy their living space in relative peace and quiet. The presence of the protestors and their noise, banners, graffiti, unhygienic life-style etc. is a serious blight on the area and adversely affects the value of our properties from both a capital and rental perspective.They have illegally encamped next to Elm Quay Court and use megaphones, shout and erect banners encouraging motorists to "hoot" in support 24/7.

I support peaceful free speech during the day and for 24 hours but I do not support gypsy style wild camping and living with large tents and obstructive boards. It is intimidating walking to and from my own home.
