Speaking as a local youth director I believe that current dress codes promote sexism. I have seen the enforcement of dress code brought to the point of unmerited ridicule. I hope in this situation that student freedoms are realized. I also hope that students respond in kind by not abusing a more lenient dress code. God bless, keep fighting for what is right, no matter how big or small.

I 100% agree with what this lady is talking about, this is such an abuse of power and Nike shorts or tank tops are harming or distracting kids. Its the kid that are being the guns to school who we should be worried about

I agree with kylee. Most of this dress code does not help anyone, and only serves to embarrass. We need to progress as a school, and allow people to wear what they want.

As a mom of a young girl in CP I am appalled by the RR school district bullying it's girls. Athletic shorts are allowed everywhere else, so why not school. It is not a distraction, and if it is comfortable for thme to wear it will only better their education. I am proud of these girls for standing up for their right to wear comfortable clothes that does not hinder anyone else learning experience.

Honestly, I think its really freakin stupid. Nike shorts DO NOT show our butt, and there is nothin wrong with them. It's not like our main thought is to show our legs. We just want to be comfortable and not have to wear jeans in the summer time when it's hot.

Nike shorts were frowned upon while my time at RRHS and I was dress coded multiple times for them. I think it's about time someone did something about it. Proud of y'all.

I feel like we should be able to wear what we want to wear. We are always told in school to love and be proud of our bodies. But yet we still have restrictions on what we can wear because it "shows to much skin and is not appropriate"

I don't really care about Nike shorts, but the dress code in general is rediculous
