Niantic allow legitimate android root users to play PokemonGO!

Wife loved playing this. This is sad.

Banning all people with rooted phones for the mistake of a few is completely unnecessary. Niantic should focus on making the game less stale. That would keep people playing rather than trying to ban the players who stayed after the game's popularity began to ware off.

This is stupid and going backwards. It just like a PC game company creating a game which does not allowed players using other OS other than Dos to play! In PC game industry, afaik none of the game companies actually did that. ZZZZ

I'm not spoofing, I'm not botting, Unlike the people in my area who occupy all the gyms. I just want to be able to play this game and not be treated like a criminal for having a rooted phone.

I am not even a root user, but i have a chinese brand phone that is supposedly a bit modified, that's the reason i can´t play, im not a cheater and i really like to play this game with my friends

i have been a root user for ages and never cheated and i feel tarnished with the cheaters... i root to enhance my phones battery and perfomance to get the most out of my phone. people who arent even rooted are spoofing and botting and im legit but being forced to go to stock image just because pokemon go used saftey net. hackers have more reason to hack saftey net if its in high demand... because credit cards are important as pocket monsters.....

No more in-app purchases until you become more sensible about root usersusers.

It is completely unfair that you have stopped me from playing your game. I have walked 90km, spent money and caught 99 pokemon. I love your game but also love modding my phone. Why you have stopped my being able to play because I rooted my phone is beyond me. Please let me play again...

Hackers don't need a ROOTED phone to BOT

I play Pokémon Go with root and Xposed, but it doesn't mean I cheat. The big cheaters will be using a computer where it can spoof the location and such without all of that...

Yes I want playing Pokemon go on my rooting device, this discrimination.

Punishing legitimate players is poor form. I understand you've made your money and probably couldn't care less about this minority of players, but cheaters will continue to do so, while those of us who just want to play the game and have our phones rooted for completely legitimate and unrelated reasons are getting screwed on this.

Please reconsider your policy towards rooted phones. I have spent money on your app and am now unable to use it!

Allow Root users...

You branded me a cheater, simply because I rooted my phone to modify the status bar, and remove ads. That isn't fair to people who have done the same. I did not cheat, and had no plans to, but if you're going to brand us cheaters maybe we should.
