Anyone should have the right to tattoo anywhere on there body if they please.and the tattooist should have freedom to make the client happy

It's unbelievable that this is even a discussion. I'm licensed as a tattooist and I wouldn't dare do this without proper training.

I am asking to please not let bill 70 pass. I along with all of my colleges have had hundreds of hours to be able to offer this highly skilled service. with in this year alone I have seen and corrected these weekend worrier mess up that have scared and disfigured an individual. I have also taken classes with salt and saline solution removal to help with the number of cases that I have had to fix because of people not knowing what they are doing!!! . If we allow this bill to pass you are opening up a huge can of worms lets not forget they will now be able to perform medical tattooing as well and I will tell you first hand as a certified medical tattooist with over 250 areola tattoos I have has to correct some god awful tattooing for woman who went for a areola tattoo after cancer and ended up with a horrific tattoo and it breaks my heart. So let me ask you this can I know do what cosmetologist and aesthetician do without any training or licencing?? of course not why for I am not TRAINED in it. it is an insult to think this is just a little add on service when it is such a skilled service. please do the right thing NH! let Maine and other states not care about protecting their people, but NH I live in this state for just this reason because WE DO CARE about our people we have LAWS that will protect us!

This is a very serious procedure and should not be put in the hands of amateurs that take a class which takes a few hours. Do not pass this bill.

I am a licensed Cosmetologist and a licensed Tattoo Artist. I can say from experience that without having completed the 1500 hours “tattoo” apprenticeship, as well as the completion of all the advance certifications in cosmetic and paramedical tattooing, I would not have the skills needed to perform tattooing of any kind, not to mention on the face.
As much as I believe in protecting the licensing of Cosmetologist, I believe it is just as important to protect the licensing of Tattoo Artist, anything less is a disservice to the public.

This bill is unprecedented, dangerous and unfair to the highly qualified licensed tattoo artists who already offer quality microblading to their clients. Microblading is one of many methods of implanting pigment into the skin with the use of a hand device and is by definition a tattoo and should remain regulated as such!

Preserve health and safety. It takes 100’s of hours of training to have good technique that will not leave facial disfigurement and scarring.

Tattoo artists spend years earning and learning their craft to provide the best possible service while maintaining the utmost care for safety. Making small “cuts” in people’s faces should be considered tattooing.

I have my face done professionally by a licensed tattoo artist and love the results. Safest and security was an issue when I spoke to my friends and the horror stories they told of being pinnedd down on a couch with a knee in the back of some dirty salon! Omg, let's not lose control of the situation again! There are some serious blood borne diseases or there that can be passed around unknowingly! Keep it professional for the sake of all tattoo artists,

I’m not sure why it needs to be pointed out that in order to tattoo someone’s face, you should be licensed to tattoo.

I am a licensed tattoo artist. I apprenticed for 1500 hours to obtain my license and learn about skin, bloodbourne pathogens, pigment, techniques, sanitization, tools, and color theory. It would be a disservice to the community and health of clients to be able to tattoo someone’s face with no training on tattooing. Also the classes for Microblading to obtain a certification are 1-3 days average are money pushed rushed courses that are not proper education for this technique. Approving this would over flood our industry and lower the quality of work. This is a safety hazard and scary that this could get approved.
