This is disgusting. Of course rape is an absolute bad. The fact that the rapist gets any joy out of it is part of the problem. He/she is the perpetrator. Rape is a psychological and physical violation. It is unwanted and unwarranted. It is cold. And it lives with the victim for the rest of his/her life. It is FORCED upon the victim. It doesn't become good if the perpetrator likes it. That's part of the problem! It's done without the victim's permission. What kind of person, let alone an authority figure, would say something like this?

As a victim of rape by my boyfriend when I was a teenager, I am absolutely disgusted to hear that someone is not only condoning rape, but he is a representative in our government.
