Teach your sons to respect women. Why should women have to cover up bc it "distracts" the male? Schools need to stop supporting rape culture because that's all that's being taught.

This is craziness. How are you really going to change the dress code for these poor girls they're all 18 and under for Christ sake. Why is sexualizing their bodies even an issue. This has never been a problem at northern and didn't the get an Academic award last year...when girls still wore leggings to school. So really what's the issue

This is absurd. If a girl feels confident with what she's wearing then she has the right to wear it. Now I get if it's totally Inappropriate but this policy is sexist. It isn't our fault that guys get attracted to us when we were tight clothing.

Completely unrealistic to ban such a common and comfortable piece of clothing

It's disgusting how girls have to obtain their clothing choices to help boys "concentrate better". Instead of us changing what we wear for boys to be able to learn, boys need to be taught to respect our bodies. Whether we dress appropriate or not, it's the boys choice whether they want to pay attention. This dress code is absurd and I don't even go to this school but I believe it should change because it's belittling girls and who they are. How are girls suppose to be comfortable in school now? So now boys can concentrate better since girls are "covered up" but now girls can't concentrate because they're not comfortable...everyone should be able to express themselves (in appropriate ways of course) and be able to concentrate and learn even with leggings or yoga pants or whatever else on.

While I certainly don't want young men distracted, is that not normal for teenaged males? A dress code aimed at one gender is biased and certainly there should be room for compromise.

This policy is very discriminatory and should be overturned. It puts girls in a very difficult situation and it was never an issue in the first place. Seriously Northern? This is what we worry about instead of fights and drugs? Pretty sad

what I wear on my body should not be ruled as Inappropriate expecially if it covers most of my skin.
