Why should girls have to compromise the way we dress because guys don't know how to be mature? School should be preparing us for the real world. So what're the guys going to do when they get out of high school and into reality where there is no dress code? Honestly, this is 2016. Freedom of expression should not be compromised or even something to debate about.

This dress code is mainly directed towards the females in our school which I consider to be quite sexist and offending. I am sorry that I am not allowed to express my femininity at my school. If we cannot wear skinny jeans, tank tops, leggings, etc. what else are we supposed to wear.... Welcome to the 21st century, this is just the style.

I can't belive at this day and age this is even an issue. This is the only public school in guilford county with this strict of a dress code. Maybe the problem lies within the administration

The new dress code is ridiculous and unfair. Girls shouldn't have to change how they dress to come to school. Some kids are not as privileged as others and may not be able to buy certain clothes to fit the dress code and they should not have to suffer consequences because they cant afford clothes that fit the dress code.

Instead of shaming girls for their bodies, teach boys to have control over themselves. If a girl who is sexually aroused by the same gender and can control themselves then it shouldn't be hard for a boy to control themselves.

this is absurd ! young ladies SHOULD NOT have to wear clothing that does not attract the males ! if a piece of clothing is keep the male from leading , he has a problem with himself , the female SHOULD NOT be told what not to wear bc of how a particular group of females think act act !
