I do not support this mandate. The process is seriously flawed and NTB continuously ignore or refuse to acknowledge the questions and requests put to them from our people. Our voices need to be heard!

The kaupapa I follow is that of my tupuna and what they believed and have taught us all our lives. Yes we are Ngatiwai and I support that. The NTB need to follow the same kaupapa. Do they have their own agenda.?Why aren't they listening to NGATIWAI. If all of the above is what we need to be acknowledge and registered as an Iwi, why is it that the conditions are not adhered to. Tautoko Ngatiwai.

I do not support the mandate and am of Ngatiwai descent. On numerous occasions the Ngatiwai trust board have ignored the requests of the people. They used a clever strategy of extending the vote to Ngatiwai descendants who live overseas, who are not at home or aware of the issues of importance that are occurring at home.

I am from the Barrier. NTB have supported a ficticious whakapapa of Rehua of Tainui, this has changed hundreds of years of indigenous history throughout the Ngatiwai rohe. We of the Island never gave them permission to go for our claims. We are contesting through MLjC at present

NTB are taking away our rangatiratanga.
I don't give NTB the mandate to represent me.
I prefer that each claimant have the right to go through the Waitangi Treaty Tribunal process, regardless of time constraints. To hear all the evidence. To have that information documented and witnessed by all the members of Ngatiwai, to ensure that all taonga is returned accordingly.
