NTB should stick to their own whenua when making claims and decisions. Ngatiwai has nothing to do with Te Waiariki, Ngati Korora and Ngati Takapari

I strongly oppose the Ngatiwai Trust Board deed of mandate. The Crown has not followed there own process regarding intentional engagement and poor management within OTS to secure a transparent mandate that has the support or majoriry of Ngatiwai.
The NTB are a small disaffected group of people who purport to represent all of Ngatiwai but have consulted poorly with Ngatiwai and have had little to no engagement with claimants in our efforts to coordinate ourselves, fund our hui and fight for our own hearing times within the Whangarei rohe so our hearings can be heard.
The Crown and the NTB do not recognize our hapu rangatiratanga, our rights and our voice as Ngatiwai - Children of the Sea.

Hapu: Ngati Rehua Ki Tuparehuia, Te Uri o Hikihiki
Non Ngatiwai Hapu affected by mandate: Te Waiariki, Te Parawhau, Ngati Kahu o Torongare
I do not support the crowns recognition of the NTB mandate as there are so many unresolved issues and I do not understand how they can recognise it until such time as the mandate is amended to empower hapu Rangatiratanga, claimants and Kaumatua voice. I do not agree
