NEXTON PARKWAYS

I just moved to SC and am appalled at the lack of traffice signals along Nexton Parkway - it is a true safey concern.

Including a sidewalk from Brighton down Rose past Tramway and Carriage lane neighborhoods. It’s bad enough now for walkers but a large church is being built at the entrance to the Tramway neighborhood on the corner of Rose and Tram.

Traffic lights or roundabouts are vital at Drop-Off/Sigma @ Nexton Pkwy, @ Del Webb/Nexton Elementary, @Midtown @ North Creek. Tramway Resident

Yes, please! IMO the most needed spots are: 1. Great Lawn Dr and Brighton Park Blvd 2. Cross Park Lane and Nexton Pkwy 3. N Creek Dr and Nexton Pkwy (why is this not a roundabout?

I live in Delwebb Nexton. It’s extremely difficult to make left-hand turns during busy times to get out of my community onto Nexton Boulevard. One time I counted 82 cars before I can make a left turn. I cannot understand why there isn’t either a traffic light or a pedestrian crosswalk with flashing lights. School buses from Nexton elementary and residence Delwebb uses that intersection. We pay Nexton’s HOA and it’s problematic for seniors to cross the street to get on the sidewalk on Nexton Parkway. If there is an accident on Nexton Parkway between an Nexton elementary and DelWebb, there is no other way to into our community….unless you go down Brighton to 17 to 176 to Nexton Parkway.

Please install several traffic lights on Newton Parkway near Brighton Park, Del Web, Midtown and North Creek as soon as possible. Please and thank you!

This neeeds to be done. I’ve almost gotten in a car accident 5 times just getting out of midtown because how crazy the traffic is. This is a must! We also had our house for sale and the buyers backed out because of getting out of the neighborhood. It’s scary and dangerous

I wish for them to either put in traffic, circles or traffic lights, but something needs to be done

Desperately needed. Lives will be lost if not.

We desperately need a light to regulate traffic getting in and out of Midtown.

As resident of Midtown/Nexton I fully support this cause. It is negligent and endangers public safety by not having a traffic light at one of our entrances.

My houses is alongside Nexton Parkway. I hear the blaring horns and tires screeching as cars try to cross North Creek Blvd and Nexton Parkway and come close to getting in a accident.
