What is the point of removing something that encourages activity, the pursuit of sports and dreams and the opportunity to give kids and families something to do and safe place to meet their friends? None!

Townsville desperately needs a new rink. Lots of people used the ice rink on a regular basis. Now they won't have anywhere to skate and play sport.

A full size rink would attract so many different sports and events of a different nature to the city! From national tournaments too musicals on ice!

I am an ex ice hockey player who has played for both qld and australia and i learnt to play and skate at warina ice rink.. without it i would never have achieved what i did... townsville need a facility badly so more kids can realise there dreams...
