I have being going to Warrina for almost 30 years. Now that it is gone, it is time for us to get a real rink.

We are desperate now. We have no ice rink and all the ice sports have no where to play their sports.

With a full size ice rink, you could add short track speed skating to your winter sports and hold comps and camps as an alternative to other venues in Australia and therefore attract visitors to Townsville.

I don't live in Townsville, but a good ice-skating rink there would be a good enough reason for me, my family and friends to go to Townsville for holidays.... regularly!

I am a proud broomball player we need this!
I have worked at the ice rink and know how much the community needs this rink we are small ice sport community but we all have our own stories about the rink! I will miss our rink but we need to move forward with a new one!!!!!

I have been using Warrina ice skating rink before I could walk. I taught myself everything I know from skating backwards to doing spins ect. If it wasn't for Warrina I would not be the person I am today and for that I thank them.
WE NEED A NEW RINK!!!

I was one of the Nation Champions this rink produced and now I tour the world with Disney On Ice for the past 10 years. I had to move away from home at 15 to train in Brisbane, far away from my family. Having a full size rink here in Townsville would open up so many opportunities, not just for figure skating but for all ice sports.
