We need an ice skating rink here. I remember growing up and going there all the time. Have class excursions there. Spending so much time there. We need one to keep up cool and keep our sports going.

In the tropics it's a great facility to have to escape the heat. It also gives the youth some entertainment and keeps them off the streets. Last thing we need is more youth bored and causing juvenille crime. It's not a case of "WE WANT"... but instead it is that WE NEED this facility in the north....

I've never used the Warrina ice rink but I can see how it is an important facility for the community. The old rink is past saving I hear, a new full sized rink would be a wonderful asset to Townsville, bring sporting teams from down south here, and attracting people and money to the city. Council should pitch in as well as the state govt. Good Luck

So many people enjoyed the skate ring. Ice hockey, figure skating, disco's. Always people there no matter what age it was and is a great place to go.

We need this there isn't much for the kids to do in townsville as it is and to take this away is terrible it's been here for many years please bring it back

Please find a new home for this rink. I use the rink a lot for parties and random outings. I also have friends who are broomball players

I spent much of my childhood skating at Warrina, and the loss of the facility is a huge blow to the community.
