New Ice Rink for Townsville!

I think Townsville should have another and a bigger ice rink

Closing this is a devastating decision. Shame shame.

Want to learn to figure skate but the rink is too small for any good clubs :(

I miss the old rink it was a GREAT place

I feel sorry for the skater who have puts years into something they love just to have it taken from them

There's got to be someone who can finance this..

I would love to see a new ice rink in Townsville. hopefully this happens

Townsville noted for its sporting heroes deserves this health producing ice rink for people of all ages but especially the young people . It is better than sitting at computers & t.vs. Tville city council must get behind this plea from its citizens.

I would love to see the continuation of an ice rink facility in Townsville. I know how much joy and exercise it has give to my nephew and imagine it is the same for many teenagers and young people in a very hot environment. It allows these kids to get off the street and into the cool for a few hours a day and socialise in a safe and fun way while also improving their bodies and bettering their skills on the ice.

I believe Townsville is large enough to support a new improved ice skating rink, particularly with our long hot summers. Ice skating is a great way to socialise and exercise away from the son. We sadly miss Warrina Ice Rink.

I have two little girls and I would love them to have the opportunity to have a skate and cool of in the summer and maybe get into the sport

please bring the rink back

When we visit Townsville the first place we have to go is the ice skating rink it was an affordable fun place to go as a family . We often stayed for a week at a time and went every day.

My daughter and I used this rink regularly and enjoyed every second of it. It was a shame to see it close.

Townsville desperately needs facilities such as the Ice-Skating rink. It hasn't a great deal of recreation to offer youth or for that matter those of all ages. It's a great means of excercise and socialising.

There isn't great deal of wholesome entertainment in Townsville. My son went Ice-skating every week and loved it. We need more facilities such as this to keep the youth from being idle and getting into trouble from boredom! Please allow this to continue.
