Skate parks give kids a much needed safe place to blow off steam, get exercise and fresh air, have fun, and stay out of trouble. The one in Carmel has been very successful. We need more!

Anytime they are going to build a new skatepark I am in. Some kids don't do well with team sports, and skating gives them a way to not only do a sport, but work out and be healthy.

Indianapolis is behind the times with our lack of skateparks. It's time we step up the game and build a nice size concrete park for our kids, adults, and visitors.

Skateboarding has given me the opportunities in life to travel to new places, meet extraordinary people, and work with those people to build truly amazing things. It also has kept me on the right side of the beaten path time after time, while also teaching me discipline on and off the board. As many others have stated, I would not be the person I am today without skateboarding. If something so simple as skateboarding can speak so loudly to so many. Than it should be a no brainer as to why we speak so loudly about it.
