Skateboarding has given me the opportunities in life to travel to new places, meet extraordinary people, and work with those people to build truly amazing things. It also has kept me on the right side of the beaten path time after time, while also teaching me discipline on and off the board. As many others have stated, I would not be the person I am today without skateboarding. If something so simple as skateboarding can speak so loudly to so many. Than it should be a no brainer as to why we speak so loudly about it.

Skated in indiana for 10+ years and i love the parks we have today, it woukd be nice to have a plaza or a new park we could go to.

As everyone else has said, skateboarding has taught me everything, connected me with some of my best friends, kept me out of trouble, become part of my daily routine, been the focal point of all my daydreams and doodles, and given me and many others a way to express ourselves.

Very excited to expand outlets for a life-long positive activity in our city. Skateboarding has given me (and very many others around here) nearly everything I know and value today. We base our entire lives off of this thing. We travel all over the country for this thing. Hope to see our scene turn into something greater for everyone! Spread the love, let's build more skateparks!

skateboarding is an excellent outlet for creativity! It gives people at all ages a chance to meet new people and build friendships, express individuality, and exercise both; mind and body. Personally, skateboarding has kept me out of trouble and relieves stress from the everyday life routine, not to mention the life long friends I've made. More places to skate are vital to skateboarders and the city! People travel to skateparks all the time, no matter how far the distance. With more skateparks there will be more of a chance for people to experience what I stated above! It's an all around win/win for skateboarders and the city! Thanks for reading!

I'm working hard in my community here in Wilmington, Ohio; and I can say a skatepark is an absolute necessity for every decently populated area. I can guarantee that I will be coming to this place to skate, along with many others. The amount of money put into a well-made skatepark will be made back very quickly and will continue to fuel the economy throughout its lifetime.
