Newhall District - Please fix your school calendar problem!

Please sync NSD and HART district calendars together. Families need to spend their vacation and breaks together not apart.

3 schools - 3 schedules. Let's get it right Newhall!!!

Please correct this problem! The two disparate calendars are a big problem for families!!

I have a child in 1st grade and a child in 11th, very difficult to plan family time together.

It's time to put families first. I'm sick of a 2 month summer vacation. And I'm tired of leaving my high school kids home while the rest of us travel during the Elementary breaks. Life is too short to spend this much extra time worrying about school issues each year. Please align our schedules with the High School.

We basically lost a month of our summer because we had 2 weeks with three kids out and one in for June and three kids back in school with one out at the beginning of August. With family on other states we didn't get to visit most.

This issue will affect my family during the 2018/2019 school year. I sincerely hope that this issue is remedied by then. Until such time I stand with the families who are currently being wrongfully impacted by this issue.

Please change the school calendar to align with the middle and high schools out here.

This needs to be fixed now.

The differing calendars seems quite needless. Give time back to the families, please, and sync up!

I have kids at three schools. Even if you don't have this problem yet, someday you might so I encourage everyone to sign this and hopefully get the necessary changes made.

To the NSD- please strongly consider this. There is no reason at all for this to be so badly out of alignment. Thank you.

I have always been confused why the calendars don't sync! I would like to resolve this being that next year and the subsequent years I will have kids at all three levels. :(

Please align the calendar.

Get in Sync with Hart District

I opted to put my son in the district I teach because our local school's Newhall calendar did not work with anything else. It's a bit silly, really.

Coordinating calendars just make sense. Families and teachers have children in multiple schools during some point. Why make it harder for everyone instead of easier?

While I no longer have to deal with this issue, it was a huge issue when I did, especially when I was employed by NSD and had a child in each district. I don't know a single family with children in each district that didn't complain about this issue. It just makes sense to align the calendars.

I always wondered about this. Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention and for taking the initiative. We will remember this when there is time to select the new school board.
