Australia - we need to petition the networks in Australia for just 1 national urban show on a national level reaching ALL of Australia - on free to air which play nothing but repeats of the same old sitcoms - lets wake these executives up. Time for a show on National TV inside Australia - for the 1st time ever that not only represents the largest and most lucrative music genre in the world. The weekly Australian ARIA chart itself - consists of 65-70&% or more urban music each and every week - yet we only have 2 awards for this category each year? This is definitely not reflected on Australian mainstream TV. Wake up Australian TV executives. This is what your children are listening to.

I have been digging through the weekly charts and the lack of urban music on our airwaves is even more glaring than when I started this. The silence from the networks is frustrating but I am currently drafting a formal proposal to hold these executives accountable for ignoring the reality of what young Australians are actually consuming.

Seeing this momentum grow proves that I am not the only one tired of seeing our culture ignored by the networks. It feels incredible to know so many of you are fighting for the music that shapes our lives.

yes about time australia - NZ has 4 and over 10 different commercial rado stations - OZ dont even have 1 x full time radio station
Australian Talent needs a platform - Hip Hop TV has been doing it for over 10 years ---They have the coten and resources to poduce a fair and balanced show t showcase local taen

Yes I'm with the movement I agree with the hip hop show in Australia hip hop show cause I'm a independent artist name younggrip an I support it a 100% my click is street poets younggrip an JD just drop music video on YouTube under streepoets heard about me we need this petitions to go threw cause this what young generation is listening to
