Please do this for quality of life for all residents in Newark. Doesn't have fancy with the safety devices. Simple medians could do the jobs.

Within the last two years, the train has significantly increased its noise pollution, especially between the hours of 10 PM and 7 AM. It’s often the train is now going by 2 to 3 times at night and blaring the horns. The increase in the homeless population on the railroad tracks has also increased their frequency of use for the horn.

I just heard how loud it was at 3am, and it’s terrible. Wakes me up Everytime. And it goes on for at least 5-8 min

I understand that sometimes honking is necessary, but definitely not at 2-3am when no cars will be on the street. Just move to Newark recently and got woken up by the noise several times in the midnight :( Please stop the honk!

The honk has been so loud that wakes kids up at midnight several times. Please help Newark residence to restore a peaceful and quiet sleep time. Thanks.
