We, the admirers of Robert Jordan’s literary legacy, The Wheel of Time book series and its television adaptation, and the narrating genius of Ms. Rosamund Pike, submit this petition to request the production of an audiobook adaptation of “New Spring” by Macmillan Audio.
“New Spring” novel is very dear to the fandom as a prequel to the main series. It delves into events that occur 20 years before the primary storyline, and is crucial for understanding the Prophecy of the Dragon, the intricate politics of the White Tower, and the relationships between pivotal characters such as Moiraine, Siuan, and Lan.
Ms. Rosamund Pike’s outstanding narration of other books in The Wheel of Time series (including The Eye of the World and The Dragon Reborn) has garnered significant acclaim and was endorsed by two Audie Awards for Best Female Narrator (2023) and Best Audiobook in the Fantasy Category (2024). We cannot imagine anyone else giving voice to the hundreds of characters in the series, and we would kneel before her to humbly plead that she accept this task.
By signing this petition, we collectively express our desire to see “New Spring” brought to life through the exceptional narration of Ms. Pike and the expertise of the Macmillan Audio team. We further pledge our willingness to support this endeavor by means of crowdfunding or personal commitment, if applicable.

Having Rosamund Pike narrate these books is wonderful. Hearing her narrate New Spring would be extra special. I already have all of the original WoT recordings and am collecting Rosamund’s versions as they are released.
Ms Pike has given me back the pleasure of books since I can no longer see well enough to read! Her storytelling is magnificient and i am completely immersed in the story! Bravo!

I don't even do audiobooks, but I do love Pike and have heard only good things about her narration. This would be a wonderful gift to the audiobook lovers who have enjoyed her contributions to WoT so far!
It would mean so much to so many fans, but particularly GSM fans of The Wheel of Time, to have a version of New Spring narrated by a performer of Rosamund Pike's caliber who is so deeply and intimately familiar with Moiraine, the story, and the world, and who has so far given us 4 flawless performances of the first several bookies in Robert Jordan's epic series. I have read New Spring multiple times, and would love more than anything to add a Rosamund Pike version to my collection.

The original narrators just won’t do and being a busy single mom, I just don’t have time to sit down and read. After finishing the fourth book, I was heartbroken when there was no word on her narrating the rest. I would happily purchase all of the audiobooks at once if Rosamund Pike finished narrating them! The life she brings to an already incredible story is unmatched not to mention her pronunciation is flawless. You’re not just following along as she reads, you are fully immersed!

New Spring was the first Wheel of Time book I read. As a result of that experience I am committed to reading all the books. As I do I am also enjoying Rosamund Pike's brilliant performances of the audio book series. It would mean the world to me to have her performance of my favorite Wheel of Time novel. Thank you!
