The costs involved to change all of my marketing materials will be substantial. Not only that, my broker has no problem with my current marketing and advertising as it is. I believe the broker should be the one who makes this decision on font size

The only purpose is to penalize one brokerage and their agents. The agents sell the houses, not the brokerage.

I have been in Real Estate 40 years coming next March. I have always paid for my own advertising, my own post cards, my own staging for clients, my own newspaper and Zillow advertising, all my own meals, gasoline, car payments and hundreds of other miscellaneous costs. I am a C.R.B. with a business degree in Marketing. This bill passage would send us back to the stone age. Please do not allow this bill to be passed. Respectfully, Doug W. Yes I work under a brokerage but I work for myself and spend so much branding MY name. This proposed new signage law is rediculous

We work too hard for our own branding and our business. We are independent contractors and our realtor brand should be able to stand larger.

This proposed change creates an undue financial hardship on all of us independant contractor Realtors by requiring us to redsign and replace all of our singage.

If this law becomes a reality it will be a serious inconvenience and burden to thousands of independently employed agents all across the state. A committee should be formed immediately to review the effect this law will have on every real estate agent in the state of Michigan, I would challenge this committee to provide even one Way in which this new law will serve the general public? Michigan's legislators need to ask themselves if this law Upholds their sworn duty to serve The people of this great state. I suspect the lawmakers who take seriously their sworn responsibility Will soon see that this law is specifically designed to serve the needs of a vocal minority At the expense of the honest and hard-working majority. It is painfully obvious to the every day real estate agent that this law by its nature will not and cannot benefit the public at large. Every minute our state officials spend working on this law is a minute not spent serving the real people who put you there. Our state and our industry is better than this, we are better than spending our time and money instituting legislation that at best has no effect on the public when it is guaranteed to have a tremendous negative effect on self-employed real estate agents all over the state. I trust if our State officials took a step back and looked at this legislation for what it is they would understand that it is best for everyone if this law finds the fastest way to the nearest trashcan. Forcing this law on hard-working real estate agents is the equivalent of The playground bully Who makes everyone's life difficult for no real reason just because he can. I'll say it again because it's true, we are better than this! Please do not spend another minute on pointless and distructive legislation. Please put this embarrassing nonsense behind us and get back to doing the stuff that makes Michigan the greatest state in the union!!
