Honestly, this smacks of " you have to pass it to read it". People hire agents, not firms. The law was not broken so please don't "fix" it.

I do not agree with this rule. This makes it about the Brokerage over the agent. The law makers seem to be out of touch with the reality that the public hires the Agent that they feel is best for them. Not the Brokerage. Plus, I am very concerned about how much the sign makers will charge when they realize that this is a state law. We are talking about millions of dollars in signs across the state. Will you start regulating how much the signs can be made for? I am guessing you won't. So, they can triple their prices and we are stuck! But then that will also require more laws, more government, no thank you! Please let us run our businesses. The people who actually do this business day in and day out. Thanks for your consideration! I am an Associate Broker and have held a Brokers license for over 20 years and this signage type size is not the reason for the committee that quietly supported this change the reason this was supported was for self gain. I did not hear anything about this until it was complete I would ask that this part be left out until a unbiased task force can be assembled.

I fail to see the importance of the font size as long as the Brokers name and/or address is on the advertisement. The public is smarter than this. REMEMBER, WE ARE BUSINESS OWNERS - NOT EMPLOYEES!

This is absolutely ridiculous! I cant believe this was even consider by "my" legislature! This proposal or rule change was brought on NOT by the public but brokers with outdated out fashioned ideas of how things should be and trying to "collude" to keep things as they were 20+ years ago. Signs and the size of font don't matter to the public, this is an insane proposal that would unneccesarily cost many agents thousands of dollars to revamp signs. This rule needs to be reversed and time focused on important issues not trying to serve the needs of a few brokers who want to stay in the dark ages. Change is inevitable and they are the ones who need to change with the times. Thanks, Tanner Whitcomb, Associate Broker.

I strongly oppose this rule as it negates the philosophy of the agent orientated brokerages. I believe that this rule is to try and make all brokerages the same.

This is a peer issues not a client issue. We should not have to spend additional money to revamp signs.... again.
Thank you kindly!
