New pavements/cycle lanes in Walton on Thames are DANGEROUS!!!

I think the pathways are ridiculous. Bikes should not be on the paths they are made for the road pathways are for pedestrians and pushchairs not bikes.

Total waste of time & money! Stupidly dangerous for pedestrians (as i found out the ither week when walking with my double buggy which got hit by a stuck up lycra- clad cyclist!) mind you, made a change to see one of them actually ysing it coz they still on the road as the paths ruin their tyres'

As a business owner based on Terrace Road I worry about what this road design is likely to cost in terms of injuries and possibly deaths.

I have seen people with pushchairs walk into the road to avoid a bike riding down path towards them. A cyclist nearly hit by car reversing out of drive, bikes nearly hit by turning cars as the cross the road
Was much better as it was now it's just dangerous for everyone
Cars can't even get round bikes in the road now as the lanes are to small, professional cyclist do not use lanes

i believe that the new cycle lanes have just made it far mor dangerous for cyclists. Apart from a small few, most of the road cyclists will stay onnthe road as this is faster and now the roads are so narrow it will either bring traffic to a standstill or cause overtaking in narrow roads so closer passing of cyclists! Also the pavement has increased so much at the bridge st/terrace road corner that busses can now not make the turn? It seems incredible the lack of thought and common sense used.
