Totally agree. The narrowing of the road at the Carpet Right corner is DANGEROUS - There is no clear left hand lane and drivers going straight on are forced to cut across those turning right

Total waste of tax payers money, use these roads twice a day every day, and to see a cyclist on the new cycle path is a very rare sight. The roads are now far to narrow, an accident waiting to happen!

Total waste of money has made Terrace Road / Church Street extremely dangerous and the pavement a nightmare for pedestrians

Terrace Road is now more dangerous for cyclists and motorists than it was before. Please return the road to its original width and paint a cycle lane. Cyclists are not using the new cycle path they are still on the road.

My son is a keen cyclists and it is far more dangerous now . He gets up to speeds of 30 miles an hour if a child was walking and went into the cycle lane then they would be seriously injured. What a complete waste of money.

Improving the actual road condition may have been more productive

I live on terrace road and quite simply I feel completely violated. I recieved zero consultation on this which is frustrating as it passes right outside my house. This is not a legacy from the Olympics it's down right dangerous. Whoever made this decision should hang there heads in shame. Needless to say I there has been a financial motive behind this and I doubt this directly effects those who made this decision in their "Ivory Towers".
Further to this I've witness frustrated drivers arguing and a noticeable increase in traffic. Ironically the cyclist's remain cycling on the road. I've seen THREE people cycle past me on the path and one was on the wrong side! Today I've seen the addition on silver discs! Would it not have been cheaper to spray a line possibly? Everything about it dangerous. Kids don't and small people don't understand the segregation and parents contrary to belief don't have eyes in the back of their head AND this is why cyclists remain on the road.
Quite simply if my children (God forbid) are hit any cyclist going past my house and get injured I will not hesitate to take out a civil action against the authority who gave this the go ahead.
Complete and utter waste of money

It's very dangerous, not a single cyclist uses the widened pavement and its virtually impossible to attempt to overtake as the roads are to narrow, it causes caos to drivers and traffic build up! It was never going to work this new widned pavement and narrow roads...after all us drivers do pay road tax! Don't we?

The Sandy Lane junction was narrow before the changes. It's made a bad situation worse
