Shocking. No cyclist in their right mind is going to use it, all the parking is wiped out and the road is too narrow to pass the cyclists who aren't even using the path. Total joke.

A cycle lane that has made the increasingly popular activity of cycling much more hazerdous.

Dangerous, waste of money. Other paths need attention that haven't been done.
Can not drive around any bikes, the bus and deliveries along terrace road now block the whole road.
weight of traffic is more as traffic is slower passing through the town.
Why has the corner by Adli not been done? This is the dangerous section that needs attention and an island.

I think it's ridiculous I was standing at the crossings in Walton with my friend waiting to cross if I didn't pull him back he would of got his feet run over by not 1 lorry but 2 going past they went up on the path because the road is ridiculously narrow

This will only work if you make it COMPULSORY for the cyclists to use the new cycle lane on the path and they cretainly aren't at the moment!

Awful idea agreed by people who obviously don't use the roads that have been altered. Far more dangerous for pedestrians, cyclists and motorists.

Agreed that bike lane rather than dual use pavement would be more beneficial to all. At least the council should help encourage bicycle users to use the new path.

Seems like the council had some money left over in the budget so thought they would throw it down the drain by building these silly cycle path. Why not use that money to sort the roads in Surrey!!

What a waste of money! Obviously whoever agreed to it does not use Terrace Road! Have you ever seen a cyclist follow the Highway code?

As a road and mountain bike rider I cannot believe that this scheme has been implemented. We're we consulted as drivers or cyclists? ? A waste of money!

I travel along this roads every day, cyclists are not using them as they have to keep stopping and starting at junctions. Only today I saw a cyclist weaving on and off the cycle lane as parents were walking with buggies. Due to the road being narrowed traffic is building up due to drivers parking on the road.

I hate the cycle lanes!!! They are a complete waste of time and tax payers money.
Nobody uses them.
It also creates a major hazard for pedestrians if they do use them.
They look horrible!
Whoever dreamed this idea up needs their head examining.

Another point is the people living along terrace road who could park on road are now parking fully on the pavement forcing people into the road to go around them especially dangerous near grovelands school absolutely disgraceful and proof no thought has gone into this whatsoever

The council in their infinite wisdom have in fact made it so much more dangerous and took 3 times as long as what it should have and to add another point the state of the work is shocking, I've seen better pavements in rural Africa and that's the truth! I drive a 7 seater and coming out out Cambridge road is a nightmare, if I turn left towards molesey I have to wait ages until it's completely clear both ways as other wise I would have a head on collision! I use this road every single day and 99.9% of cyclist will still use the road which is much more narrower! Not only has this caused traffic caos, their will be people ie cyclist maimed or killed in a far more frequent manner than before these lanes were put in place!!
