Let's review the number of deputy mayors & their salaries. That's just one area of fiscal bloat.

Dear Mayor Landrieu, Please respect those individuals who make this city great. Safety is a necessity for our service people. We have plenty of other issues that need to be addressed in New Orleans. Thanks, Marc

The New Orleans musician and service industry workers should be valued.

Do not raise the rates or the hours on the paid parking, it is expensive enough for us working Joes.

I think the new cost would be very extreme. I worked in the quarter for 18 yrs very difficult to leave my job every 2 hrs

This is ridiculous, prices and penalties are already high enough... My car was just booted in front of my house and I had to pay $360. These meter men always seem to give tickets for no reason too, they shouldn't get compensated for giving out tickets. Rather pay them a fair hourly wage.

I am of the belief that the city should be giving service industry workers free or at the very least discounted parking.

If you want to milk the tourists, ok, but, please, come up with a plan that allows the people who work in this city, the people who make this city a tourist Mecca in the first place, a fighting chance to LIVE and work here.

The people this hurts are those in the service industry who MUST park here. Shakedown someone else!
