If the city needs more money, don't make me pay tickets for being parked somewhere for more than two hours while I'm playing a gig. Maybe try a fair tax share from state funds instead of them going to Baton Rouge and Shreveport?!

Run the people who work in your tourist area out of it & who will keep your precious tourism industry afloat? Why would I catch the bus for an hour coming from Metairie or the East to get mediocre wages.

Forcing lower wage employees at restaurants to park in questionable areas near the French Quarter. They are vital to N.O. economy are being unfairly subjected to the greed of the city.

This will impact the working class and service industry employees harshly. Mr. Landrieu should know better than to indirectly tax the lower-income residents of this town more highly. There are more ethical ways to make revenue for the city.

I am not yet a citizen of the city, but as someone who visits often, the thought of even higher parking fees offends me. I already don't go as often as I like because parking stresses me out!

it's going to only hurt locals. period. this is one reason I haven't been downtown in ages. but I have to direct my hostel guests there every night.. I actually tell them to enjoy other parts of the city that our mayor is unaware of.
why not tax airBnB like you do with legitimate by the book bedding establishments.

Service industry employee around the city for 10yrs. Parking is already too expensive. Some slow night all my $ went to parking & babysitter with $20 to spare. Parking rates do not effect tourism, except to hurt the employees & musicians, responsible for caring for those tourists.

Completely unfair to those of us who live here, and are forced to use the meters on a regular basis, while performing on Frenchmen St. Pull your collective heads out of your collective asses, and do something that helps the New Orleans citizen.

AN EXTENSION OF HOURS???!! Are you F*$*& Serious?!?!?!?!? I have already lost one ENTIRE car to these bastards as they towed my car after putting a note for $3000 on it the car it self was only worth about $800 so i let it go ... now they want to extend the hours this is getting way outta hand as they are just getting greedy this is absurd... PLEASE SHARE THIS PETITION!!!!!!!
