Wagonwheel and Livery Lane have different road conditions, ages, and traffic history and the nature of their repair requirements are not the same. It is unfair to spread the cost of rebuilding Wagonwheel to residents on Livery Lane who are not in favor of such extensive reconstruction.

Residents living on Livery Lane and Norway Hills Trail should have input before such a large assessment (and decision ) is made on road maintenance.

Your feasibility study indicates the streets in question are approaching 30 years old. As of the summer of 1994, the streets in question were not paved so they are not more than 23 years old. The reason we moved to the country is the charm of the country including the country roads. Please present more information as to why there isn't a solution short of the total reconstruction proposed.

The market value of our properties must increase by the same amount of the assessment. What is your formula to measure the potential increase in the market value of the property due to the improvement?

As a New Market Township resident for over 20 years, I have seen how the Township Board operates. I am opposed to replacement of Livery Lane. Assurances that driveways and landscaping will be replaced to "like new" conditions is just talk. I have had my mail box and front yard landscaping damaged many times by careless snowplowing and the township has never reimbursed me a penny for the damage. The Board admits that the road has not been maintained properly for the last twenty years, how do they expect us to believe that they will properly maintain a new street for the next "twenty-five".

I do not want Livery Lane upgraded at this time. I do want the road repaired to include a new surface. We have paid taxes and and additional levee for road maintenance and I want the road repaired and resurfaced ASAP!

I understand that Livery Lane needs to be repaired but am not in favor of a full upgrade and replace without a compelling reason to do so.

Let the Livery Lane residents have some options regarding maintaining the road rather than improving the road. At this time , I am not in favor of rebuilding the road. I want to hear some other options . No concrete gutters. Is there any guarantee that rebuilding the road will last for 25 years as opposed to resurfacing and repairing segments ?

Require information as to specific road defect or deficiency that supports replacement versus repair. Also what is the cost analysis or cost savings that supports replacement rather than repair? Neighborhood is entitled to further and more in depth information, a detailed analysis and the opportunity to have a question and answer meeting with the township.

As others have commented, need to understand options, associated costs, where our maintenance dollars have gone this far, and comparison data for other such road projects. I am not in favor of full rip and replace without compelling, professional assessment and data.

I am also in favor of REPAIRS to Livery Lane unless provided with adequate support for why it would be in our best interests to rebuild/upgrade

Perhaps this was note in previous communications, but I would like to know how a potential assessment was calculated, i.e. linear footage, home value, flat fee?

While I want Livery Lane to be repaired, I do not want Livery Lane Upgraded and Rebuilt unless I am provided compelling reasons to do so.
