We need this lifeguards station for Clacton on sea, it's not the first time someone has lost their life here,I don't personally know the lad that drowned the other day but to me as a nother that lives in Clacton it makes a personal, I want my son and other people's children to not only feel safe but to "ACTUALLY BE SAFE"! no more lives should be lost and no more heart break for family and friends to cope with,this needs to be done even if it's just for the six weeks summer holidays,other places in the UK have it in place,well as part of the community we NEED this to!

Yes quite agree, just a one .lifeguard with jet ski is a great idea

There needs to be something done to try and prevent people from drowning near the pier, if there is a lifeguard present nearby on a look out with all the right equipment then someone can be rescued quickly.

It is a busy & popular beach, it does make sense, with all the water sports & activities clacton seafront offers.

Lifeguards should be on the beach to make the sea safe for kids and adult who might find themselves in a difficult situation it shouldn’t make a difference how good a swimmer you are everyone can find themselves in these situations and need some kind of help
