To USABL: Homerun and great job on this! To Gov Micromanage: K, Strikeout, Big WHIFF Big thank you Phil on behalf of the thousands of kids in your state for ruining Fourth of July weekend! Pathetic leadership but not surprised.

Are you crapping me Phil? July 6? The other commenters are absolutely correct you have micromanaged an area you nor your people know anything about. Medium risk sport? Wtf is wrong with you? I believe you have no intention of taking care of our kids. You have opened up very unsafe activity first. What a mess you are. If there Any spikes it’s on you as nothing you have prioritized to open first makes sense but keep the kids indoors and lined up at the cages Moron!

Completely knew the Governor would bone this. Now these other places are a go but we still can’t play games officially? No way!!!’ A lot of parks have opened and many organizations are moving forward with tournaments beginning June 27. I will be one of them. I waited patently for this guy to do the right thing and use common sense. Not waiting any longer and a lot of other people aren’t either 250 limit outdoors on 10 acre complex I don’t need them to tell me it’s safe Thanks USABL for doing the right thing but it’s up to the individual teams and tourney directors now to get this going of their fields are open

In short F@$k this guy!!!! Our town opened our fields and we will be running softball tournaments as of June 27 and I’m taking my team on the field this weekend . I’m down with lies, bullcrap and scare tactics. It’s the usual stuff we are gonna keep kids from playing so we can say we are being careful bit I’m gonna open everything else and I’m Gonna March in a thousand plus protest. Do as i say not as I do to its fullest. But no prob NJ keep voting democrat and let them violate your rights daily with orders that are unconstitutional. As for me? I will be on the field this weekend and thank God for my republican Mayor will be playing a tournament on June 27 Phil you are an ignoramus and I count my blessings every day I didn’t vote for you. Thanks for trying to still screw our kids at the expense of the almighty dollar. What do you expect from a sliver spoon Ivy Leaguer????

Hasbrouck Heights Babe Ruth Let the kids play baseball now. It’s a naturally social distancing sport. I know so many children that love it and are sincerely depressed over not playing. The warm weather will only exacerbate their sadness.

Now pools and driving tests? But no start to baseball and softball games???? Nahhhh cause that’s not close proximity for long periods.....what a crap show this is. Thanks Governor for crapping all over the kids as your data clearly speaks to being able to open these two sports. Great way to talk outta both sides of your mouth. This is why many do not believe a word that you speak. Let them play already, there is no data or science saying otherwise for these two non contact sports

Cmon Phil what’s the problem? Let them play!!! You are opening everything up in creation but making the kids wait till June 22nd? Wake up oh power hungry one and stop violating my Constitutional rights with this idiotic and unnecessary strangle hold on our kids sports

People need to wake up. These racist hate groups and our very own politicians and our brainwashed children are now taking down America. Wake up good people of America and stand up or America is gone

Governor You are forgetting that by not allowing more people outdoors (yet you are ok with thousands in a beach) baseball and softball is still doomed until you do so. This is a large swath of small business owners who own teams, run tournaments and leagues etc. why is ok that this is destroying their livelihoods and business since March and you are making us and them wait till June 22nd just to practice? Or is it Just practice? Who knows as the gray area is vast in the way this was put out by your administration. It is totally unfair to think about opening other establishments including day camps and again holding back these to youth sports and literally adversely affecting the kids, the parents and the small business owners Let’s get real man what’s the problem???!

Cmon let them play already and not just practices further delaying any hopes of coMpetitive play! All the states around us including Ohio, parts of PA and Connecticut are open for play already Stop throwing gray areas and confusing language at us Mr Murphy and give us some solid dates when we can play real ball not just practice gimme a break man
