Dear Keefe, Thank you for your comment.
As a young Secondary 2 boy in CHS 2-3, I hope that you can respect other peoples point of view. I am sad to say that your tone is rude and disrespectful.

After much hustle and bustle about the completion of the new jc, the government is still adamant about placing the holding site at Mt. Sinai and has expressed that the jc will not be completed by 2017 afterall. On my part, i feel that the government may have indeed shown some neglience in the matter since they had already promised the jc few years back but it is not being fulfilled within the promised timeframe. However, now that it is officially stated that it will not be able to be built in time, will there be able use if we rushed them into building it by 2017? Yes, there had been other major projects being completed within a short period and i believe that the government are capable of it once again. But the main reason for the delay is due to new preparation of the transports routes along the area, if we selfishly request them to complete in the short timespan it may bring inconvenience in times to come. Besides, the structure of the jc is tall and even if it is completed by then, the foundation may have flaws and this may put the students in danger. So rather than putting the governemnt in a tough spot, why not give suggestions how the holding site could be better improved for a more conducive learning environment and programmes to better enrich the students. Thank you for taking time to read my comment :)

The government alr say dunwan change then now still go waste ur time do this stupid ipetition. Waste ur time, waste my time, waste PM Lee's time. U rly want to change then WALK STRAIGHT UP TO THE AUTHORITIES AND TELL THEM. U dont come here and simply make ppl click buttons and send to government office like "PM Lee pls change the location of the school coz we have 500 ppl clicking buttons". They said their desicion was final. So now instead of complaining like a wimp, why not start thinking how MOE can improve the education experience for the school's pupils? The first one was denied, and you think starting a second would change the outcome? And if it doesnt r u gonna start a third? A fourth? A tenth? It doesnt work that way. 勉强没有幸福的。

The new JC cannot be build on time and therefore exception need to be made for those students impacted to move on to another IP JC, etc.
These exceptions are conditional so far.
MOE has acted unfairly. MOE has moved markers for themselves but has not move the same for the students. I have little respect for MOE as a result of this episode.
On another note, the ability of MOE to explain and convinced me of a decision is lacking. I found the arguments of the parent logical, convincing, and passionate.

Dear PM,
We will appreciate your kindness to look into this matter. Many students are deeply disappointed. And we need someone with higher authority to make some key decisions to move this forward.
We remain hopeful to see our ministry / leaders take a positive & constructive situation leadership position. The time invested for this group of young & innocent students will be remembered in the Singapore government history forever.
Warmest Regards,

I am a Secondary 1 student. I am very sad and disappointed with MOE. 'Tell a lie once and all your truths become questionable.'
I do not know how to convince myself to trust MOE in the future. I will never ever forget this episode in my life when I was being cheated.

Dear Prime Minister, I sincerely hope that you could help to speed up the construction of the campus for the new JC so that the current year 2 and year 3 IP students of CHS, SNGS and SCGS could step foot on the new campus and graduate from it. The students have been looking forward to study in the new campus. This was a promise made to them by MOE at the time they were selecting their secondary schools after the release of their respective PSLE results. When the delay was announced in April 2015, the students affected by the delay (including the year 1 students like my son) were utterly disappointed. Please help these students, a group of above average students who can contribute greatly to Singapore when they complete their studies. Please don't let them down. The current situation was created due to no fault of this group of innocent young people. Why are they penalized? Thank you for your help.

Dear PM Sir,
MOE has already dug for itself a big-enough pit and caused more than enough damage. We the parents urge them to stop before the child's passion for knowledge and learning is fully killed. Additionally, the last thing we need is useless jargon and them hiding behind a wall of excuses.
We the parents are not encouraging our forebears to be fragile strawberries, as popular terminology would have it, but we want to instill in them the values of having no fear and not hiding behind the drapes of safety.
We find it unacceptable for one's demanding of MOE to honour their words to be characterised as "over-reacting". Is honouring one's promises not the most basic thing a dignified human being could and should do? And if one were to accuse us of being like shepherds corralling baby sheep: too protective of our children, too afraid to let them venture into the dark, then we argue that the MOE is the same, if not worse, for inculcating into these very children the foul values of shirking off responsibility and breaking one's words! Are these the traits one wishes to see in tomorrow's leaders? Example-setting indeed!
Granted, what's done cannot be undone. We just ask that the MOE do whatever they can do to right the wrong. This includes an actual apology and does not include feeding us with boilerplate letters filled with excuses and more excuses.
Thank you.

Please help us ensure that MOE keeps it's promise to the students and parents by delivering the new JC on time. There will be some much disappointment and let down if the promise is broken.

Really hope PM can instruct MoE to do the right things. MoE is currently setting a bad example for our students that when they failed to deliver a committed project on time, they just gave excuses after excuses without owning up to their mistakes. Very irresponsible work ethics to just tell parents to take it or leave it and leaving us with no choices.

Dear Mr PM,
We are very disappointed with the injustice decision made by MOE on 5 June 2015.
MOE just simply gone ahead with press release announcement with no better solultion. And yet again given us a "'FINAL DECISION" on the holding site - Mount Sinai. This is totally unacceptable at all.
We sincerely hope PM that you can intervene in this matter to ensure the new campus can be built and be ready as 'PROMISED'. Let's bring back the trust and faith with our government.
Thank you...
