总理先生，您好！我们这些父母与学生给您写这请愿书是表达我们有多失望和愤愤不平为什么人才济济的教育部无能妥善规划这它们自己提议已久(应该在2010年对外公布之前就已计划好)并大力宣传将三间有优良历史的中学里的高材学生合并健另一间优质现代的`顶尖初级学府在碧山。教育部倡导的是让学生上靠近家的学府无谓的浪费时间在公路上，现在我两孩子上附近中学（三个巴士站）每天都要早上6点半出门以便7点到学校而旁晚是6点或7点回到家（3天课外活动其余两天有而外学习或Project），吃晚饭冲凉之后做作业和复习大约11点半至12点才能睡觉。以后每天要花3小时来回于Mount Sinai Road临时学校 和宏茂桥的家，这样**家**对我们就不再是家，孩子们也没有生活。真不应该带孩子们来这个充满压力和谎言的世界。请您能为我们（3所中学的首3批IP学生和父母们）让教育部因他人的延误过失而对我们的将来造成伤害，您是我们未来的希望。在此谢谢您的帮忙我们将永远铭记于心。

I hope that the location of the new jc will remain at Bishan as most people live in the North.

My Son is affected by the shift, from a 15mins to school, he will have to spend 1 hr and two way will be 2 hr wasted on the journey. MOE always advocate parents to choose school near their home but they are doing this to us? Is it appropriate?

Like many other family from the 3 IP schools, we and our girl has chosen St Nick IP program because of the location promised. Our Dear PM, please help as we have full trust in you to clear up what MOE has messed up.. Appreciate if you could understand our frustration and disappointment. And do the necessary correction move of what MOE has promised few years back.

SJI need to explain on why the delay in the upgrading of the Malcolm Road Campus. Please. MOE team should rejunvenate ITE Bishan site instead of Mount Sinai Campus. ITE Bishan is centrally located and within 5 mins walking distance from Bishan MRT. It will benefit not just the New JC students but preceding batches of school using ITE Bishan as holding school. SJI has to move out.

Dear Mr Prime Minister, I am a grandmother of a SNGS girl. I am writing to appeal to your sense of justice, concern and compassion. This ipetition to you is started because our pleas to the school principals and MOE for a dialogue session have been ignored. 1)We have been told to trust the MOE/government. We did. The result-our children suffered. But we still have FAITH in our government-therefore this petition to you. 2)We are told IPJC is the fruit of many YEARS of planning. Why the 11th hour change? We, Singaporens, are proud of our Government because of its efficiency. We were told in 2012 when we were choosing schools that the new campus in Bishan vicinity will be ready for our girls in 2017... 3) The Ministry wants nothing but the best for our students. If no alternative site can be found, let the children be allowed to transfer to nearby IPJC. Let the new IPJC recruits fresh intake in 2017 at the new far away site.That will be in line with MOE's policy and advice to all parents to choose school near your home. That will be in line with nothing but the best for our students. 4)Government has always advocate dialogue with the people. This is a PLEA for a dialogue session. With the efficiency of our Government, the new campus should be ready at least in end 2017. We are willing to sacrifice one year in a holding school. At least the pioneer batch get to experience the new campus as PROMISED in 2012. There are many holding site nearby like Braddell-Westlake Secondary School in Braddell. Please listen to our plea. Time is of great importance now, please do not go ahead with the decision without further discussion. Thank you.

To some this may look like a minor inconvenience, at most. But it is a BIG issue for us and our sons who are directly affected by this blunder. Please rectify the problem.

As parent, our concern is our children education, we are already shock to learn about our children daily heavy home work and CCA, the main purpose to have a schools nearby our home is to save them a little time for rest. Now MOE is taking that away!!! I really sad and angry! I am disappointed with MOE responds, which doesn't really address the concerns faced by parents of 3 affected schools. Hope our gov will deliver their promise and complete the new JC as planned.

Like other parents, my daughter and I chose to enrol into this IP school given that the distance of the secondary and the new JC is near to our home. Doesn't MOE advocate choosing a school that is near to our home too? Now we are made to travel all the way to the west through no fault of ours?

I cannot believe how inept MOE is. MOE has many years since 2012 to start the works for the new JC. What have they been do these years procrastinating ? And what a high handed way that MOE is dealing with those affected - by just shoving down the changes down our throats. Have you not consider the impact these will have to the students and parents of the three schools ? As a parent who fetches his children to school, I can not imagine that the move to Mt Sinai will double by travelling time. This affect the parents too, MOE !. SJI should just move out of their premises by 2017 and give the campus to the new JC, as agreed upon. The delay of works in SJI is a matter between SJI and MOE and the 3 schools should not be made a scapegoat for this failure of MOE. In any sense, SJI moving to MT Sinai will made more sense as it is nerarer to their school at Malcom Road. This is have less impact on all the affected. Isn't this a much better solution, MOE scholars ?

They just suka suka use LTA as an excuse and can just brush us away.

3. There are many solutions to this problem but the announced revised plan reflects the bureaucracy of these government agencies. We would like to appeal for a review. 4. Civil servants are paid by tax payers. They made mistakes, students pay for their mistakes and no one being held accountable for the mistakes. Parents who are also tax payers are not being consulted even upon many request to meet the authority. No one in the government agencies is prepared to take charge to listen and review because they are only part of the project. Something is very wrong in this whole equation. And we need PM Lee to help us.
