Shouldn't the Education & National Development Ministers be accountable for this fiasco? When should their inactions finally be held responsible?

I sympathise with the 4 principals who have to face us parents. The proper thing to do is for MOE and LTA officers to have a proper dialogue with parents. Explore options and alternative arrangements. We parents are reasonable and understand it is not easy task, but we do expect a lot more from a world class civil service. Thank you.

We chose the new JC as it's location is near to where we stay.
For those of us who are not willing to go to the new JC, what are our options? Just as the school cannot be faulted since these r unforeseen circumstances, we should also be given good alternatives and options, considering this new info is a big change from the original plan, which we had based our decisions on.

Having 2 older boys studied JC and watched how long the hours could be, I am worry that when it comes to my daughter's turn, it will mean much lesser rest time for her as she needs to commute from Sembawang to Bona Vista.
Hopefully if nothing can be changed, the students will be given a choice to choose the JC that they want to attend.
Traveling long distance deprives them from sufficient sleep and jamming the public transport do not make sense at all.

This is a shame for this to happen in Singapore. It's a result of incompetence, truth hiding, bureaucracy & cold-heartedness among government officials, which now endanger the foundation & fundamental value of Singapore,
I am sure Mr. Lee Kuan Yew would not tolerate this happening to Singapore & his Singapore people.

As a student in one of the ip schools, i am utterly disappointed in the way the schools and the government is handling this situation. Many of us have worked hard in order to get into the IP stream knowing that it will be newly built with facilities that are suitable for us to use at a JC level. In 2014, students in secondary 1 and 2 were given the chance to think of the design of the school building, school uniform and even the schools rules having known that some of our ideas would be used in the construction of this new JC. However, if we are not even able to experience the school compound of this new JC, wouldn't our efforts be gone to waste? Furthermore, MOE has not even decided on the name of the new JC and everytime the JC gives us, the students gifts and notes of wellwishes, they sign off as "New-Government JC". If this decision of a new JC has been decided for 4 years, why isn't MOE, the schools and the government doing anything about it? I am utterly disappointed with the fact that they have not even started to chase the tenant which is currently holding the place located at Sin Ming road behind Bishan Park. MOE and the government should really look into this matter. As a student in one of these IP schools, i really feel betrayed and cheated. Imagine graduating from a Junior College without an identity? Isn't that worst from graduating from a not as good JC? We were told to embrace this situation and think for the government. However, I personally feel that this has been taken too far. Firstly, there would be a delay in the construction of the JC when they have not even started on the building. It was explained that it had a delay as LTA introduced a new requirement. However, through my readings, LTA's new requirements were about the pipes situation which can actually be solved just by shifting the pipes which would be constructed at our new JC. The confirmation of this JC has already lasted for 4 years and why is LTA only saying this now? Shouldn't they h

If nothing else can be done to improve the situation, MOE needs to allow these students PRIORITY to transfer to another JC of their choice.

Dear Mr. PM,
I hope that MOE is able to revert to its original plan as promised as their decision for the holding site at Mount Sinai will penalize students living in the north for another 2 hours of traveling time daily, this 2-hour lost can much better utilize for their revision.
