Hello anonymous, First of all, if YOU were literate, you would realize that I did not call Jordan an atrocious baseball player, I stated "atrocious high school baseball career", meaning that he seemingly had a terrible time playing high school baseball . I do not need to see Jordan play to know his morale, because this petition simply speaks for its self. With all of these false accusations of my dad, it is inevitable that there are far more intentions behind this petition. With that being said, I have a right, to NOT keep quiet, especially if people on this website are writing very hurtful things. Just know, that EVERYONE can read this, you live in a really small town, and everyone knows everyone (including all of these anonymous writers). So thank you for leaving my initial comment, it is a great representation of the truth and it shows the love I have for my dad.

Wow! Sounds like you DARIAN TAGAWA AND JORDAN TAGAWA!! A bully!! I played for and against you! And i still remember you wanting to fight other players parents and causing issues whenwe where playing. I remember winning a game against you and you calling us lossers and going around saying we got lucky and it will never happen again cuz we sucked. And holding a vandeta to come back and beat us! So you are the bully not the hilo high coach! Cuz I played for tony and he has never said anything bad about any player! Or has ever made us feel bad about anything! The fact I have one of the former coaches I coach with from Lincoln Wreckers text me that you guys are bashing our organization and Jordan is pretty down right pathetic. I have reviewed over the petition and the comments that were made. I'm glad you stayed anonymous whoever made that comment about Jordan playing for the Lincoln Wreckers. I'm glad you did. I've been to a lot of Hilo High baseball games and I've seen him pitch, I've seen the situations he was thrown in and he was always mentally tough. It makes me wonder because he was the only one ever used to relieve in tough situations. I think it's because he was mentally tough and knew what it takes to get the job done. Let's also never forget how well he did on t.v in states in 2012. I was damn proud of him. Jordan never said once he was a good pitcher, he is a very humble kid and for him to go out of his way to create this petition means a lot. Read the petition more carefully before you start attacking a former kid of mines. I honestly don't know why any of you attack him when he hasn't even attacked you. You guys look like the bad guys for attacking someone who didn't even do anything to you guys. Just remember, you guys are not there when Desa is coaching, you don't know what goes on behind the scene. Unless you can tell me that you have been there every single minute with these kids, do not say these are lies because you don't know yourself. A lot of comments have been made and a lot of people have signed it. Something is going on whether you like that fact or not. All these people that are trying to bash on Jordan, you all apparently can't read. If you guys read this petition, you know exactly what he is trying to say, so don't come on here and mix his words. It looks bad on you because we all think you're illiterate now. This petition was made for people to say their peace and sign if they wished. This petition was not made for people to come here to talk crap about other players and others. To Desa's daughter, you have just shown me that you're not great of a person yourself by coming and attaching by calling Jordan an "atrocious" baseball player. Have you ever seen Jordan play? No. You're supposedly the oldest daughter, and if you're the better person keep quiet. I can tell you Jordan is by far from atrocious. He is one of the few pitchers that were pretty damn good and helped out the team as much as he could. As for that, comment about knowing that Jordan is a Lincoln Wrecker's player, guess what, I was one of his coaches and how dare you say such a thing, you're another illterate person. If you read what the petition said, you'd know what he's trying to say. I'm glad you both don't think he's too good. Just know, out of how many players that have come through Hilo High are currently college ball like he is? Even after the fact he surgery needing to work 10x harder than everyone else to get back to where he was and better. You guys can attack Jordan, just know there will be someone to back him up.

Lol I'm not surprised this petition is coming from a Lincoln Wreckers player. We live in Hawaii. Coaches aren't doing their job if they don't correct you on your mistakes. How are you supposed to get better as a player if coaches don't yell at you and correct your mistakes? If you can't handle the pressure of getting criticized then you shouldn't be playing. I know who you are Jordan Tagawa, stop being soft cause there was better players than you.

These comments and "signatures" that are directed towards my dad are clear representations of an individuals arrogance and need for public acceptance. These are poor mannerism qualities that a true team player should NOT posses. As the eldest of his four children, I would be the first to vouch for my dad, and if it were suffice, I would testify of the estimable qualities that he portrays. Although in this situation, doing that would evidently be impractical being that this petition is geared towards biased pro "New Hilo High Baseball Coach" supporters, signed "anonymous x 18. I understand that this comment will be deleted within the next ten minutes, but my purpose is to allow the author of this to realize that this petition will go unnoticed to the vast majority of the public. There is no evidence to uphold the content being written, due to the distinct fact that they are untrue. My dad is highly favored by many individuals in Hilo, and would have incomparable support by humble family members, friends, citizens, politicians, law enforcers, attorneys and professional individuals from across the state. As a parent of a HHS player I've seen, heard, and witnessed his poor decisions as a coach. Although he is the varsity coach his influence trickled down to JV and I heard many complaints from JV players and parents. Could it be because his son played on both JV and Varsity? I wonder what the REAL reason was for the JV coach to quit? It speaks volumes when your players hold meetings to vent their disgust about your favoritism. And it screams guilt when you need to justify to your players why you put a freshman in a position that a 4 year player held and did well in but you kick him to outfield. Why? Because you allowed that player's dad to coach both JV & varsity? A transfer nonetheless! What's in it for you? I just hope that the next coach has no kids on the team, no favors owed to anyone, is not a promise maker, and can solidify the team instead of creating a division between players. I also do not fault anyone for being anonymous because if HHS decides to keep him on, retaliation and black balling is a very real possibility for the players.

What I don't get is, why another coach is answering on a petition. You shouldn't be saying anything especially if it's not directed to you. You're not the problem, Desa is. So stay out of it. If you want to join in, you're only going to be dragged down. You did nothing wrong. Keep it that way. Plus, the comments you have been leaving have been questionable. The reason I'm supporting this petition is because I have to come home every day after a long day of work and hear my kid tell me, how horrible playing hhs baseball. Yeah, sure, he ain't the best kid, but he goes out there everyday giving his best to be only told it isn't good enough. I've had him home crying because of what goes on at practice and he does not want to tell me. I know I'm not the only parent who feels this way with how their kids feels either. I just want something done to make things better and if signing petition gets that happen. I am signing it. I just want my son to enjoy baseball, please. He loves it too much to give it up. Get desa out, being a player for hhs varsity baseball I've experienced all this first hand. He has favoritism and it's shown throughout the year, his own kids (my former teammates) complain about how they want to quit and how it's all politics. Desa needs to get out!

Devin, if Desa is so innocent, why are you being so offended and keep commenting. If he's innocent then you guys should have nothing to worry about. You're only making it look worst by stalking on this petition. You've also said comments that really don't help your cause. You're basically fueling the fire for this petition by dragging out people like me, that was going to stay quiet but can't stand what you're trying to do.
