Walker has years of legacy and tradition behind its name. It is literally known throughout the world as Walker high. Coach Brunner spend tons of money on brand new jerseys to put us on the field looking the bestand make us have a sense of pride with the name Walker across our chest. Many people have put countless hours into making the name "Walker" have meaning behind it and it should all be taken away by some idiotic people in charge at the JCS board. #WeareWalker

Class of '71 Walker COUNTY High School. We were the last class to graduate from WCHS. But at least it was still Walker. Please don't change the name.

We have been Walker for years. Our traditions are what have made this school so special. There was no vote taken, and as far as i saw or heard, no one wants the new school to be Jasper High School.

This is absolutely absurd to change the name of a school that has changed so many lives. Changing the name would defeat all of the purpose the school has brought to this city. Yes, this is Jasper, but we are Walker.
