Considering Walker High School has been around since 1920 maybe even before I just read that was the athletics department then I say we not be stupid and throw any more money away along with the new building having to come up with a new sign and new class rings and new uniforms for every sport, clubs and band.

Sherri Cain Franks. Class 86-90. This has always been Walker High School & should always be! Think of all the former teachers & staff as well as Alumni & future students! My grandfather was a teacher at Walker High. My grandmother, father, mother, step-mom, myself, siblings & nephews went to Walker High! Our yearbooks, my band jacket & our memories as well as those of our friends & their familes reflect Walker High School. If the Jasper City Council & School Board of Walker County plan to use the tax dollars to build & run this big new school, they should have a say in the name of it! Go Walker Vikings!
