The skate park is used by a large cross section of the community. My 4 children scoot, skate and ride there bikes around and across the park. It would be a real loss if not replaced with something more robust.

There are a lot of talented bmxers in the streatham, sutton, wilburton, hadenham areas. Give them what they deserve.

The new Park should be made out of concrete! Also members of the council should check out the parks in the surrounding areas (Waterbeach, Cottenham, burry st edmonds ect) and try to come up with something different it's all to easy to build similar setups. A bowl type park would be the best setup for every one.

Needs to be simple, concrete and larger features than those in the surrounding area. i.e. Waterbeach and Cottenham. This should attract people from further afield!

lots of people seem to have missed the first meeting but the idea seems to be that users have input into the design and whole process . Your best bet might be to friend the Haddenham Skatepark facebook page (if you're not already) for updates and contact the Haddenham parish council let them know you're all interested and keen to help.

I've been visiting this skatepark since I was a nipper, now 23 and pretty shocked to see it has dissapeared! As stated by Luc Byford, I feel a meeting should be arranged to put forward ideas for a new design that benefits both newcomers to the unconventional sports these parks are used for and for the older, more experienced lot.

I grew up at this skatepark and helped make me who I am today.. we need new one so other children do the same!

Me and about 6 other guys all ride BMX and are all based close to haddenham. not only should there be a new skatepark but the council need to setup a meeting where the people that are going to use the facility are the ones who design it! now obviously its not going to be a state of the art skatepark but with a few ramps and a strong layout you can have endless fun! unlike the poorly built and designed park before it!.

The skateboard is always busy when I walk past. The village should be providing amenities for older children as well as the younger ones.
